Who we are

Tennessee Tree Huggers is a Nashville based, community-driven environmental organization dedicated to protecting the natural beauty of our home.

Through a focus on sustainability, park preservation and public land advocacy, our goal is to make a lasting and positive impact on our community. We collaborate with local conservation organizations to volunteer as a group and organize community activities such as group hikes, book/item exchanges to promote sustainable living, and invite guest speakers to lead us in educational discussions. TTH hold bi-monthly nature walks and monthly meetings where any member is welcome to attend and join us in planning events and activities that inspire eco-friendly practices and encourage collective involvement in protecting our environment—locally and beyond.

It starts small, it starts local, and it starts with you!

Become a member of Tennessee Tree Huggers and join us in making the world a cleaner, greener place, and enjoy some fun group activities, too!

The biggest impediment for tackling sustainability problems is the lack of collective action.
